Selection by qualifications and interview pursuant to article 8 of the "Regulations concerning the recruitment of personnel with fixed-term employment contracts", for the recruitment, pursuant to article 83 of the National Collective Labour Agreement for the 2016-2018 “Education and Research” sector, signed on 19 April 2018, of a staff member with a professional profile of Technologist III level, at the Institute for International Legal Studies (ISGI) of the National Research Council (CNR) office headquarter Rome, Italy, for activities related to the “NATIONAL BIODIVERSITY FUTURE CENTER” Project (CUP B83C22002930006)

a) Master's Degree or Specialized Degree, or University Degree in Law, Political Science or equivalent. For degrees obtained abroad, the recognition of the foreign qualification is required according to the procedure indicated in article 38 of Legislative Decree No. 165/2001 with the procedures set out in article 2 of the Decree of the President of the 

Republic No. 189/2009, amended by article 1 paragraph 28-quinquies of Law No. 15/2022. The candidate who is not yet in possession of the provision for recognition of the foreign qualification must declare in the application form that he / she has submitted the relative request. In this case the candidate will be admitted to the selection with reserve, it being understood that this recognition must be presented before the stipulation of the employment contract;

b)  At least three years of experience in scientific research support activities on relevant international, European and national legal regimes in the maritime field. In particular, experience is required in the field of reconstruction and critical evaluation of legal instruments, policies and multilevel strategies adopted for the protection of biodiversity in marine spaces through the following activities: Support for the analysis of the regulatory and institutional framework relevant for the protection of biodiversity in Mediterranean marine spaces, and Italian ones in particular; Analysis of the processes for implementing regulations, policies and strategies, through the identification of application critical issues, such as legal and institutional inconsistencies, as well as any gaps, overlaps and regulatory conflicts, which could arise between the various sectoral disciplines; Support for the analysis of interpretative and applicative problems related to the implementation of the Maritime Spatial Planning in the maritime areas subject to Italiansovereignty or jurisdiction; Technical, administrative and managerial support to the research activity mentioned above, in particular: technical reporting activity of the Project and support toadministrative accounting reporting; support for the coordination and management of relations with the partnership; or possession of the title of Research Doctor or PhD relevant to the required experience.

c) knowledge of the English language.
